Tips for landing a plane
Emergency Landing
- Control the airplane and establish the recommended best glide speed (100 knots).
- Specify a suitable landing area and touchdown zone consider any obstacles
- Vary airspeed, descent and flight profile as necessary to reach key points.
- Fly an organized approach to the selected touchdown zone, considering aircraft altitude, wind conditions, terrain, obstructions and other factors.
- Complete emergency procedure checks.
- Make a Emergency radio call.
- Perform an effective passenger emergency safety review.
- Close the throttle from normal circuit height.
- Take the plane down at a normal landing speed (15-35 knots) and touchdown it at the specified touchdown point.
Regular Landing
- Consider wind conditions, landing surface, and consider any obstacles.
- Specify a touchdown point that will permit a safe landing.
- Close the throttle from normal circuit height.
- Establish a gliding approach at the recommended speed (100 knots).
- Complete before-landing checks.
- Touchdown in a normal landing attitude at the specified touchdown point (15-35 knots).

how come you dont put the normal landing before the emergency landing?
